Waaaaay back in the beginning of the year, when we first started 412teens, I had an idea that we should have a serial fiction story running on the site to give you guys a little something extra, something different, to read here in addition to all the awesome content we have going up practically every day already.
Well, we got pretty sidetracked with said awesome content, and Borderline, the story we started waaaaay back then, got sidelined. We've finally decided it's about time we got it going again and have been updating every week on either Tuesday or Wednesday. (We're going to shoot for Wednesday updates.)
Borderline is a fictional story about West Ward, a teenage boy just trying to make it through high school. We've already met a couple of his friends (J.T. and Larah), his crush (Mandy Peel), and his nemesis (Gavin Stott). On each episode of West's story, you'll find a Polaroid to go with it—like the one on this blog post to the right there—complete with a caption by the fictional guy himself.
As neat as all that is, that's not even the best part! This story is INTERACTIVE. That is, each episode will have open comments on it for you to answer questions about life and/or tell us what should happen in the next episode.
Right now, we're looking for suggestions as to whether West should run after some strange kid or run to catch the bus. Read part 005 to find out about his situation and let us know what YOU think!
I am super excited about this story because the characters are really cool, and I hope that it will make you laugh (at least on the inside), encourage you in your life, and give you some things to think about.
Thanks for being a part of it!
