"For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them." —Matthew 18:20
A healthy spiritual community is a vital thing for a follower of Christ. Proverbs 27:17 says, "As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another." Friendship is built on mutual trust and respect, and, as fellow believers, we should be building each other up (Hebrews 10:24), encouraging one another (Hebrews 3:13), serving one another (Galatians 5:13), and helping each other grow (Romans 15:14).
In the 412teens community, we value honoring one another (Romans 12:10), being patient with one another, forgiving one another (Ephesians 4:32), bearing one another's burdens (Galatians 6:2), and lovingly speaking the truth to one another (Ephesians 4:25).
"Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken." —Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
