What age will I be in Heaven?

The Bible promises that Heaven is going to be even better than the most amazing place we could ever imagine. The apostle John was given the huge privilege of seeing and reporting on the heavenly city (Revelation 21:10-27), and when he actually saw Heaven (the new earth) with his own eyes, he knew this was a place that possesses the “glory of God” (Revelation 21:11), the very presence of God. If you have accepted Christ as your Savior, then you will get to have a new life there after your life on Earth has ended.

When that time comes, will we go to Heaven at the same age of our death? Or will we be transformed into a "perfect" age? Will old people still be old in Heaven or do they get to "rewind" to their youth? Will babies or children who die young be "fast-forwarded" to an older age? 1 Corinthians 15:35-49 says that we will have resurrection bodies in Heaven, but what age will those bodies be?

The Bible does not give a specific age for this age question, so all we can really do is speculate. We do know that the resurrection body is a fact, though we don't know what that resurrection body will look like. For all we know, it could look very different from the human body we know on earth today!

Some believe the "ideal" age for our resurrection bodies is around 30. Some even get as specific as saying 33 is the perfect age since it is approximately how old Jesus was when He died on the cross. Still, those are just guesses. 1 John 3:2 says, "Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when He appears, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is."

Whatever the case, it really doesn't matter in the end, because it'll be the best, most amazing physical gift we could ever receive from God. Our bodies will be flawless, totally healthy, and totally pure. No matter what age we are in Heaven, we will be completely and absolutely perfect.

TL;DR

The Bible does not give a specific age for this age question, so all we can really do is speculate. We do know that the resurrection body is a fact, though we don't know what it will look like. Our new bodies will be flawless, totally healthy, and totally pure. No matter what age we are in Heaven, we will be completely and absolutely perfect.
