Do Christians have to be perfect? (video)

 

What Jesus said in Matthew 5:48 might be a little worrying: "You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect." What? Doesn't that contradict what we know to be true about ourselves—that we all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23)?

Matthew 5:48 is one of those verses that is easy to get a little discouraged about. But let's take a look at what the Bible really means by "perfect"...
